The Octave Teaninich 2009 12 Year Old #6734245

This terrific Teaninich single malt has spent twelve years maturing in oak casks before being finished in an octave for five months. The Highland expression was bottled in 2022 by Duncan Taylor exclusively for The Whisky Shop at 54.1% abv. Just 90 bottles of this ultra-rare dram were produced.

On the nose, there is fresh melon, fresh vanilla, and tangerine jelly. The palate has a waxy character and is full of dates, green tea, liquorice, orchard fruit. The finish has hazelnut, soft sherry notes, and toasted marshmallows.
