Another beautiful single cask bottling from Duncan Taylor as part of The Octave series. Exclusive to The Whisky Shop, this expression was distilled in 2008 at Glentauchers in Speyside and matured for 14 years in oak casks before enjoying a nine month long finish in an octave. Just 58 bottles have been filled at 52.2% abv.
The nose brings fresh cinnamon, Bakewell tart, and glazed cherries. The palate brings candied orange, dark chocolate, and jasmine. The finish brings gentle spices and soft fruits.
