The Octave Glengarioch 2012 9 Year Old

Another exclusive bottling for The Whisky Shop we are very excited to announce. This Glengarioch 2012 is a single malt whisky that is part of Duncan Taylor’s Octave series, where first-rate drams undergo a six-month finishing period in a tiny octave cask. This particular expression was aged for nine years in oak casks and was bottled in 2021. Cask strength at 53.6% abv, this is a tiny run of just 80 bottles, so get your hands on one of these before it’s too late. Free from chill filtration and artificial colouring, this Highland single malt is a quintessential Glengarioch with a sherry twist.

Dried fruits, vanilla, and green apple arrive on the nose. Flavours of vanilla, cooked orchard fruits, and dates arise on the palate. The finish is clean, subtle, and creamy.
