Murray McDavid Teaninich 2012 9 Year Old Pineau Des Charentes

An independent bottling from Teaninich distillery released by Murray McDavid as part of their premium Benchmark series. One of five UK exclusives released March 2023, this Highland expression was matured for 9 years including a finish of 32 months in a 350 litre, French fortified wine cask (Pineau Des Charentes). One of only 162 bottles, and decanted at a cask strength of 53.2% abv. 

Expect aromas of dried peaches and creamy espresso, leading on to a palate with flavours of malty biscuits, oak, and stewed apples. The finish is long, comforting with oaky spice.
