M&H Sherrywood

From the Milk & Honey Distillery comes this characteristically classy offering. This Sherrywood single malt whisky is comprised of a delicate mixture of bourbon, PX, and Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Spain. Made in Tel Aviv, this dram is free from chill filtration, and arrives with a cask-imparted colour. This is the latest edition in this distillery’s Elements Range, exploring the unique qualities certain cask types give whiskies. In this case, the quality is sheer elegance.

On the nose you can detect a whiff of citrus, ginger, and a subtle undercurrent of ripe fruit. The palate has a big kick of honey, with juicy cherries, freshly ground coffee, and rich chocolate. The finish is slightly spicy, with hints of dates, dark chocolate, and oaky notes.
