Glenkeir Treasures Twin Casks Secret Speyside 9 Year Old

Part of our exclusive Glenkeir Treasures range, this single malt Scotch whisky is guaranteed to be unique, different and interesting. Distilled at one of Speyside’s finest distilleries, this expression has been matured for a total of 9 years before being selected as one of the first releases in our Twin Casks series.

Using our own twin cask method, we select an individual cask that is perfect for drinking, prepare it for bottling and then return it to a second cask. Once we are satisfied that it is fully rested, it is then bottled straight from the cask. Presented at a strength of 46% abv, each release in this hand-filled series is limited and only available to The Whisky Shop customers.

A strong European oak influence on the nose, with malt loaf, sultanas, raisins, allspice and citrus peel. The palate is light and smooth in texture with a sweet start, before a dry and peppery note emerges towards the warming finish.
