GlenDronach Cask Strength Batch 8

This Cask Strength release from The GlenDronach is the 8th edition in the series from the renowned Speyside distillery. Matured for 10 years in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks before being selected for bottling by Master Blender, Rachel Barrie, this expression is presented at a natural cask strength of 61% abv and offers a deeper insight into the characteristic GlenDronach profile.

The nose has a woody spice with rich coffee and sweet honey notes. The palate is incredibly smooth with mocha and caramel macchiato notes, before cherry chocolate cake layered with dates, plum and sultanas. The finish is exceedingly long with lingering coffee and cocoa atop hints of liquorice and tobacco.
