Glen Moray Warehouse 1 2013 Amontillado Cask

A 2013 vintage from Glen Moray, this superb limited edition expression was finished in Amontillado sherry casks. Released as part of their Warehouse 1 collection, the UK exclusive is one of only 1248 bottles. The liquid was bottled at a cask strength of 57.5% abv, and is free from chill filtration, with natural colour.

Expect aromas of caramel and chocolate from the outset, which morph into earthy notes of leather and tobacco. The earthy notes go deeper on the palate; worn leather and tobacco mingle and expand to woody flavours. Hints of chocolate hazelnut, and fading to leave a subtle tannin. On the close, tannins and wood give way to rich buttery chocolate.
