A well-aged triumph. This 29-year-old Cambus expression has enjoyed a three month long finishing period in Oloroso casks before being bottled at 45.7% abv. A sweet and spicy single malt.
The nose has cracked black pepper, milk chocolate, and dried fruits. More dried fruits appear on the smooth palate alongisde complementary notes of ginger. The finish is long with hints of chocolate, corn, and herbs appearing at the close.
