Berry Bros. & Rudd Smogen 2012 #34

A real treat from Berry Bros. & Rudd. This dram hails from Sweden’s fabulous Smogen distillery. This expression was matured in a single Oloroso hogshead to create this fruity and smoky dram. The expression was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2022 at 59.6% abv with just 284 bottles produced.

On the nose, there is barbecued fruit, seaweed, and peat. The palate brings more peat, alongside a fruity note of peach before leading into a finish full of bonfire smoke and orange zest.
